Munro's, autumn Perthshire, Steve & Deco

Declan, who is currently working in Singapore, and Steve were keen on a hillwalk like myself and so we went to autumn Perthshire in order to do Ben Vorlich and Stuc a Chroin. The autumn trip into Perthshire is a must for me. Still a bit early but some grand places to live.

The path starts on the Southern shore of loch Earn and the whole path is straight forward.

Towards the top it was quite windy and a few clouds passed by.

Nothing to hold Declan back...

... nor myself. Also happy to go for the poser shot.

Declan and Steve were a bit out of fitness (Deco's reason: Singapore noodles, Steve's reason: offspring!) and so they went down while I had a chance to put some aerobic training in by pushing it a bit up and down Stuc a Chroin. Here's the view back to Ben Vorlich.

Plenty of rutting deer making the sound of love in the Southern glen. I caught Dec and Steve half way down. Here's Steve happy to be off duty...

... and here is Dec and a tree waiting to shine in autumn.
Wish this was my wee mansion.

We went to Weem where we had a Sunday roast for lunch and I tried to boulder a bit but highball boulders without mats after a Sunday roast are maybe not the best idea. Good views also over Dunnotar castle this morning on the way to work.
